I will be out at the North Star Dragway Saturday February 23 for the 2008 Texas Thaw Vintage Drags & Car show.

This is a shopping event also...Yeepie!!! Some talented vendors including Binge & Purge, Poisoned Creations, Vintage Flair and of course Tara to the T from Dallas will be out there come by and see us!!!

Best of all proceeds got to help our troops overseas!!!

New Mafiosia In Town

That's right ladies and gentlemen, Tara to the T is a new member of the Dallas Craft Mafia!!! I am so honored to be a member of this wonderful group. For those of you who are not familiar, the Dallas Craft Mafia consists of 8 female members who are all very talented and unique artists, crafters and business owners in the Dallas, Texas area. We all celebrate the D.I.Y kind of attitude and lifestyle. Keep you eye out for us in upcoming shows and events. Etsy Dallas Valentines Trunk Show

New York, New York

The first week of January I spent some time in New York exploring the streets, meeting new people and scoring on new vintage finds. I always find it very inspiring to see people in a different city promoting the DIY movement and supporting their independent design and art community. I gathered an incredible amount of inspiration and goods to compete my Spring 08 line. I will be posting new items though out the week on Etsy, so make sure to check it out.

My favorite pit stop on my trip was the Hell's kitchen flea market. I snagged several pieces of costume jewelry from the 1940's-1950's and will be using them for embellishments and inspiration on upcoming accessories. So much to create in so little time!!!

Up and running!!!

Hey Ya'll, I did it all by myself...haha. I created my first blog. I am really excited, motivated and inspired by this past weekend. The Urban Street Bazaar and Deck the Halls events were amazing!!! I got to meet so many artistic people and tuns of amazing people who shopped the event. Thank you to all the smiling faces and wonderful customers who supported me "Tara to the T" during these two days. YOU ROCK!
